Fat Bike Season is here

Well, Winter has finally come for good.  We had snow early this year, but it all melted and at one point we were still riding our mountain bikes on Boneyard and Hay Meadow.  However, the cold is now sticking around and we have been getting some pretty consistent snow over the last few weeks.   No […]

The trails are all in great shape and riding really well.  This week, I have already ridden Boneyard to Redneck Ridge, Boneyard to Pool & Ice, and the Haymaker trail.  If anything negative about any, Haymaker has a few soft spots from when the state high school races were here.  However, there are also some […]

Yesterday’s ride was so good that I had to do it again.  This time I did the full Haymaker trail.  Good times and the hay bails that are left on the Berms DH section make it easier to lay off the brakes a little bit more.

Yesterday I rode the Haymaker Trail, but decided to mix it up a bit and instead of doing the Haymaker final downhill (berm section) I took at right where Pool & Ice Rink connect and took the old Pool & Ice rink downhill.  It is the first time I have take that route out all […]

Time to Stop Overlooking Eagle, Colorado. BY Chris Kassar http://www.elevationoutdoors.com/ Evolution Outdoors Magazine did a real nice write up on Eagle.  They mentioned the fact that it is not just a mountain bike town and that the town also has Gold Medal fly fishing, incredible trail running, and even mentioned our two breweries. http://www.elevationoutdoors.com/time-stop-overlooking-eagle-colorado/

With all the recent and consistent rains lately this set of trails is riding real nice! Eagle courts Boulder bike enthusiasts http://www.vaildaily.com/news/eaglevalley/12577733-113/eagle-boulder-group-bike Nice work to all that participated in showing these mountain bikers from Boulder what we have here in Eagle.  Love the quote about prior to the visitors mountain biking experience here in Eagle, that Eagle used to just be a another exit on I-70 that he drove past on […]

Update on Pipeline

So, I haven’t ridden this yet this year, but I have now talked to two riders that say the stench at the top of pipeline is horrendous.  Apparently, one of the cattle grazing up there got hit by a motorbiker and died.   My most recent source says that they have built a bonfire and are […]
