All of these trails are dry and dusty, but still riding really nice. I didn’t run into any mud or snow on any of these trails. Even some of the man made ponds made to hold water for cattle are completely dry. I love riding back in this part of our trail system, the trails are smooth, flowy, and fast. The scenery is amazing as you can see the Gore and New York mountain ranges. You can also see Gypsum and Eagle.
One new surprise was to see a brand new yellow chair at the top of Tick Alley. The old chair was getting rotten from the elements (I know it is at least 10 years old), but also getting riddled with bullet holes. Anyway, I consider yellow chair an iconic landmark in our trail system and I am happy to see this landmark live on with a new chair.
