Pipeline is in great shape. The creek is running, so you will get wet if you choose to do the entire trail. Also, the creek is deepest right in the middle. If you go slightly right or left, I think you will find it a little easier to cross. We did have to move a fallen Aspen tree yesterday and we moved it just enough for riders to pass without having to get off bikes.
Wolverton has mud at the beginning and there is another creek crossing, but it is riding really nice. Wolverton is a single track through the aspen trees that I think is about 3 switchbacks up the road from the top of Pipeline. When you do Wolverton, you will climb a little more at the beginning and then a little more about half way through, but the downhill is definitely worth the extra work.
